I was thinking and talking about this quite a lot in the past two days, was my main conversation with many people...

Basically the media has said there were 4 bombs (3 in the tube, 1 on a bus) and several were controlled before the detonation. All in all, London as a whole is unscathed, people continued as normal, the previous day's events already common gossip. A group, calling themselves the Secret Organisation Group of al-Qaeda of Jihad Organisation have come forward claiming it was a revenge attack... However I find it impiossible to believe this to be true...

There were many bombs, exploded in sequence, creating terror and confusion, and very well hidden from the authorities, as the Home Secretary Charles Clarke said, "It certainly was a failure of intelligence in the sense that we didn't know this was coming." (lol) Why would this amount of effort and money be put into the attack by a bunch of rookies, using the al-Qaeda name to sound harder? Ok they may not be, but I personally believe that this group jumped on the chance to publicise their feelings through the actions of others, much more experienced than them (this of course is all speculation). And these seedy sorts of tactics are not unheard of...

I cannot make my mind up about this incident as of yet, and sadly I doubt I ever will... The group that made that statement will be caught and punished pretty quick. The justice department is being pressured to find the one who did this, the real culprits will walk free and unheard of by the public... And the sad thing is, even now, the media is concentrating very intently on the "who"s and not the "why"s, I guess simply because the whys will give them a humanity, and stop the terrorists being a thing of evil, as they too have an ideology. They have a message. Andd the message will make someone (probably the government) look very very bad.. Especially after the amount of effort they went through to send out the message... I am almost certain that the message will be or already has been censored...

Remember, one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter...
